► Removing the Printer / Recorder Motor

1. First you need a Phillips screwdriver, an Exacto-Knife and Kapton tape;

2. Next, remove the paper tray from the Zoll M series defibrillator, pull out and press upward the locking tab at the rear of the paper tray;

3. Remove the front panel assembly, upper housing assembly, system board, battery interconnection board, high-voltage module assembly, sensor, print head and motor cables, and system interconnection board;

4. Use needle-nose pliers to carefully lift the pad upwards;

5. Remove the motor bracket mounting screws;

6. Use a screwdriver to pry the motor bracket and lift the motor upward to complete the disassembly.
